Travel – Better – d’emploi

“fun”
one day while digging, i discovered this grey tent sack, hidden in an army/navy. it was the perfect condition to begin a new life in a different form.
with only enough material for two nicely sized bags, i knew i wanted to make a pair using the new colors of waxed canvas recently stocked.
but a material with this much character feels comfy and worn, like a hand-me-down does.
each bag has a durable brass 30″ YKK zipper that travels half way down each side, allowing you to stuff it as full as you can manage.
they both just found their way to the webstore, so don’t sleep on these! and have fun out there!
we interrupt this slow+snowy brooklyn friday for a brand new bag: the winter weekender.
what started out as a torn photo, has turned into a heavy wool+canvas weekender bag.
all materials original army surplus, made to the highest standards, given a new life.
salvaged leather details refine the rugged look and will patina beautifully with time.
plenty of room to organize your trip up north, next friday…
a few of these bags will be offered through the webstore. i’ll be sure to let everyone know when each one becomes available. since this bag started out as a commision, it is unique, just like the rest will be. and so you know i’m not kidding, i am offering them like i make ‘em: one at a time.
